Introduction

Arithmetic Review

Welcome to Rio Salado College’s Arithmetic Practice Assessment.

Your practice consists of 25 multiple-choice questions.

Rio Salado College has created this practice assessment to help you better prepare for your math placement test. You may repeat the practice assessment here as many times as you wish before taking the actual placement. Each attempt will contain different items. The items presented here are designed to measure the scope of the content in the actual placement tests; however, the items, as well as the format, may differ in many respects. This assessment is intended as a learning aid; there is no guarantee that your performance on this tool will predict your performance on the actual placement test.

It is strongly recommended that you complete this practice assessment without the use of a calculator as the placement test(s) you are reviewing for have very limited access to a calculator.

You may submit the assessment at any time by pressing the “SUBMIT” button at the bottom left of the screen, whether you have completed all questions or only some of them. The system will then display your results on the completed items. Pay close attention to the text below each question; it will show you whether the item was correct, not correct, or not answered. If you do not submit your test, you will not be presented with your results. Good luck!
